Within the bounds of model upgrading of the ERHARD needle valve in the nominal widths of DN 100 to DN 300, outstanding product optimisations have been achieved by the use of state-of-the-art simulation and calculation methods as well as the latest manufacturing technologies. The main focus here was on improving the pressure loss behaviour and mechanical properties and optimising the corrosion protection.
